The idea
Rovaniemi has a direct airport ten minutes from the city, so the programme starts at the arrival gate.
Each day has one main activity outdoors and a dinner in a different venue. The evenings have optional modules for guests who want more.
Day 1
Arrival by reindeer
Guests change into thermal clothing at the airport and travel by reindeer sleigh to a local farm. Arctic Circle crossing ceremony and lunch at the farm, then the hotel. Dinner in a log restaurant, or in a 1940s log house on Ounasvaara hill.
Day 2
Snowmobiles, ice fishing, snow restaurant
Snowmobile safari across lakes and forest to an ice-fishing spot, with lunch outdoors. In the evening a guided visit to the snow hotel and a three-course dinner at ice tables.

Option
Floating on a wilderness lake in rescue suits, under the northern lights if the sky is clear.
Option
Northern lights by the fire outside the city, with snowshoes on site.
Day 3
Ice track and the Arctic Circle
Ice karting on a maintained track, then Santa Claus Village on the Arctic Circle with lunch. Dinner at the panoramic Sky restaurant on Ounasvaara, or in Bear's Den, a 1960s log lodge with saunas.

Option
Arctic motorsport challenge, 3–4 hours: rally car, funny cars, cross car, ATV and a pit-stop race in teams.
Option
Ice driving, 2 hours, with an instructor on a snow and ice track.
Option
Day cruise on the Sampo icebreaker in the Gulf of Bothnia, with ice floating and lunch on board.
Day 4
Huskies and departure
Morning at a husky farm: meet the dogs, learn to drive the sled and ride a 5–6 km trail. Lunch, then transfer to Rovaniemi airport.
